Clinical Background

Having obtained thousands of hours as a clinical social worker under supervision, some of my experiences are below:

  • Cornerstone Montgomery– Worked with the severe and persistent mentally ill population in the life skills department.
  • Washington DC Vet Center– Co-lead groups and maintained an individual running caseload of 15-20 combat veterans.
  • The Viva Center– Utilized neurofeedback and CBT with individual clients in a private practice setting.
  • Watkins Mill High School Wellness Center– Worked for over a year utilizing EMDR, addressing “Small T” and “Big T” traumas. Maintained a running caseload of 25.  Conducted family therapy, ran groups, and supervised an intern.
  • Aquila Recovery– Performed adjunctive EMDR work and co-lead an addiction group.
  • Gunzburg & Associates (Current)– Traveled to independent schools in the Metropolitan DC area to do group/individual therapy and presentations on social skills, bullying and other prevalent topics for the adolescent population.

Professional Background

Beyond my clinical experience, I have worked as an associate at a lobbying firm, a paralegal at a law firm, a financial representative at an insurance firm, an analyst with the FDA, in addition to having my own mental game/personal training business, Attainable Peak Performance, for 9 years. I have 7 years of coaching experience at the Maret School with the varsity football and basketball teams, in addition to coaching the rugby team at Georgetown Preparatory School for a year.  My professional experiences have allowed me to relate to broad spectrum of people.
