Wellness/Peak Performance Lunch n’ Learns with Small Businesses

Ryan presents talks to small businesses and can focus talks on the following:

  • How to Be Fit at Your Desk – Involves physical activities or stretches that can be done at the desk. These much-needed strategies will help you break free of many of the downsides of sedentary time spent at the desk. Your whole company will benefit from the collaborative effort to break the bonds of immobility.
  • Stress Management Skills – Stress and other mental health challenges can take a major toll on your employees overall wellness. This talk could include relaxation techniques in the worksite, work and life balance, managing change in your in your life, and how to change bad habits.
  • Mindfulness Meditation – Mindfulness, paying precise, nonjudgmental attention to the details of our experience as it arises and subsides, doesn’t reject anything. Instead of struggling to get away from experiences we find difficult, we practice being able to be with them. Equally, we bring mindfulness to pleasant experiences as well. Perhaps surprisingly, many times we have a hard time staying simply present with happiness. We turn it into something more familiar, like worrying that it won’t last or trying to keep it from fading away. Learn to get away from that bad habit and walk away with someone valuable.
